一応、なんちゃってセレブダイビング倶楽部的には吉報なのですが、２０２０年７月１日から、日本人観光客のグアム訪問が可能になるようです。
現状の、１４日間の自主隔離というシステムの適用を日本人（韓国人、台湾人）について棚上げすることによって、短期滞在の観光客を受け入れるようにするという格好のようです。
問題は、日本帰国時で、日本サイドで１４日間自主検疫（隔離）が必須だと、よほどの暇人でない限り、グアムに行くのはハードルが高そうですｗ
行きはよいよい、帰りは怖い、ですし、万一、現地で発熱すると、飛行機に乗れないので面倒なことになる、という話もあります（この点から９０日滞在OKのESTA入国推奨、となります）。

Guam's Governor Lou Leon Guerrero announced on May 27 that it will resume accepting visitors to Guam from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan on July 1, 2020. The 14-day quarantine and inspection requirements have been lifted, and travelers will once again be able to enjoy the beautiful island of Guam. Guam has developed important health care guidelines to ensure the safety of the Guam community and international travelers.
The Governor said: “We have worked hard to create the necessary guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. And now we are experiencing the spirit of "Hafa Adai" in Guam (Hafaday, a friendly greeting in CHamoro). We are pleased to welcome everyone back to Guam. "
Former Governor of Guam, Interim Director of Tourism Guam and CEO Karl TC Gutierrez said, “Thanks to everyone in the travel industry for giving us time. Now it's time to get up and move. Japan, South Korea and Taiwan have been successful in stopping the spread of COVID-19 as have we in Guam. Thanks to our mutual efforts, we are able to fully welcome our visitors.”
